Molo - float glassware by forsythe and macallen

Molo - float glassware by forsythe and macallen

'float' designed by todd macallen and stephanie forsythe for molo design of canada.
made entirely by hand in the czech republic and manufactured in borosilicate glass (pyrex), these glasses consist of an outer wall and a suspended inner 'cup'.

the materials and the overall design of the pieces enable this glassware to be used with either hot or cold liquids.

the float tea lantern is an award winning design that fits neatly over any tea light - keeping any beverage warm, but the container itself cool to the touch, not to mention providing a unique glow. it also works wonderfully as a decanter / pitcher for any other beverage.

the matcha bowl is designed around the same concept as the float glasses, allowing you to pick up your bowl of soup without burning your hands.
