To create our own line of House Numbers (2006), we looked to Erik Spiekermann for designs that are distinct, unmistakable and provide a legible, clean aesthetic for a business or home. The House Numbers collection, designed exclusively for DWR, includes four typefaces. The Contemporary numbers are based on FF Meta¿, which was designed by Spiekermann, who saw a need for a more elegant sans serif font.
