Introducing a limited-edition set of two Heath Ceramic bowls (1947) in a color combination made exclusively for DWR. These bowl shapes have been in continual production for more than a half century, and they are true to Edith Heath's original vision for simple shapes, subtlety in glaze and nuances from hand craftsmanship. Throughout her career, Heath perfected her own method of glazing, which is used in creating these bowls. The opaque white glaze is an original formula produced since 1948 and the aqua is an adaptation of an original glaze base. The result is in line with Heath's belief that her ceramics should be made to last a lifetime, and be passed from one generation to the next. Heath Ceramics is based in Sausalito, California, and still operates out of the same harbor-side factory that Edith purchased in 1947.
