A pleasure to ride and pull, as well as look at, the Peak Sled (2006) blends Shaker-like simplicity with sculptural form. Crafted of ash wood, this collector’s item is designed not only for aerodynamics down a snowy hill, but for display next to the fireplace or elsewhere indoors. Brown polypropylene webbing and metal runners round out the simple design and a wood handle on the tow rope makes for easy, comfortable mobility when climbing back up the hill. Seats one rider at a time.
