The main inspiration for this design is the front grill of a 1950' Buick. The automotive shape situated on the ground is aesthetically converted into an outdoor music theater. The large seating area has been designed to allow people to enjoy the atmosphere of the Detroit River environs. On the rear wall of the main stage, two intersecting lines help spectators visualize the music as the main subject with rhythmic movements, as well as playing an important role as a focal point inside.
