Technology is so advanced today that you can convey the most extreme emotions with just a few simple characters. :) means you are happy; :-P means you are joking; >:( means you are mad; and >:) means you are evil and having a good ol' time. In the olden days, people didn't have it as good. Back then, you actually had to write them a letter expressing how you felt. Such a waste of energy - except for the times you are seriously emotional. Those times still need the hand written touch. But why leave emoticons behind?
