It was a damp night. The heat was oppressive; a veil of mist clouded everything in sight. It was hot, yet a chill ran through our veins. An anonymous letter told us to come to the "Happy Meadows" Cemetery for a surprise. A far away church bell pealed the hour of one. And that's when we saw the hand. That's when we saw the first glowing hand push up from the once hallowed ground. That's when we knew we would never be safe again.
