Invented in the 1960s (just in time for the revolution of mind-altering..um..literature), the Lava Light has been a delight and a cultural icon ever since. There is just something hypnotizing about watch blobs of stuff move about interacting with other blobs of stuff. It's sort of like a protoplasmic ant farm.
