fluoless

fluoless

According to nosigner, almost 400 million fluorescent lights are discarded every year. in japan alone that creates
75,000 tons of waste. because they are so difficult to recycle, nosigner wanted to come up with an idea that
re-used this unwanted resource in a new project. 'fluoless' is a large crystal structure that he created to raise
awareness for the issue and to explore the material potential of the light tubes. the project is a collaboration
with 'theory' and is currently being shown at the museum of omotesando hills, tokyo.
